Just got back from the Round Marsh, and man is it hot. We're pushing 81 degrees, which would threaten the new high temperature for Jacksonville. While I miss Oregon's snow and it certainly doesn't feel quite like Christmas, we have to make the best with what we've got. When life gives you limes, make margaritas I guess. I'm thinking a frosty beverage (rocks, with salt) would wash down a dozen Apalachicola Bay oysters quite nicely here in a couple of hours. I'm going to knock out some Christmas shopping, then hit Sliders at Atlantic Beach, then go see Seven Pounds.
And I'll do it all in flip flops.
