Looks inviting, doesn't it? Good old Boca Grande. Tourists love to swim in that water, but the locals know better. That stretch of cool blue is absolutely teeming with hungry mermaids. They've been known to tip john boats, pulling fisherman down into a salty embrace at the bottom of the sea.
It's hot here today. The temptation would be to dip a toe. But take care,friends. There's plenty of safe water further north...
